EmpowerU Presents Covering The CommUnity

EmpOwerU – The significance of the name is that the individuals within this group will EMPOWER others, be involved significantly in OUTREACH activities and events throughout the community, and UPLIFT one another on a regular basis. The U signifies every single person within the group because each person plays a unique role, and every one of us is just as integral to the success of the whole.
EmpOwerU is on a mission to cover the community. Now that the weather is changing, we want to help those in need by donating new and gently used adult and children’s coats. Starting on Monday, November 19th you can drop off your new or gently used coats to any member of EmpOwerU or schedule a drop/pickup by emailing us at fayempoweru@gmail.comWe will be coordinating at least 2 drop-off points in the community for your convenience. Be sure to follow the event page for updates.On Saturday, December 29th from 10am – 1pm we will be handing out these coats on a first-come first-served basis at Westover Recreation Center.
