Nearly 3 years ago we fell in love with a little golden pup who was shivering in a tiny cage at the Cumberland County Animal Shelter. Our Harley Quinn has been a beloved addition to our family. When we decided we wanted a dog we knew we wanted a shelter pet. We wanted to know we gave a home to a pet that needed us the most. Dirtbag Ales and The Fayetteville Observer care about the pets in Cumberland County too!
Move Your Tails Dog Walk & Festival is a charity walk and expo where we will celebrate all things four-legged and educate the community about pet resources available in greater Cumberland County.
We can’t wait to get moving alongside our four-legged friends while raising funds for Second Chance Ranch Rescue & Sanctuary. There will be plenty of treats for our two-legged friends, too – such as demonstrations, pets up for adoption, contests, prizes, pet services, food trucks and Dirt Bag Ales on tap.
Then on Sunday, Sept. 23, The Fayetteville Observer will show off the event highlights and photos, plus feature other pet information in our special pet section! Watch for our pet cover contest where YOUR PET could end up on the front of the pet section! Learn more at fayobsever.com/contests.
