Multiple Sclerosis Awareness | The Sweet Palette

March 30, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

Community supports community. This coming Saturday the community of Downtown Fayetteville is coming together to support The Sweet Palette as they share their personal story and battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Their fight is one to spread awareness and knowledge – a fight for a cure.

On Saturday March 30th, we are doing an MS Fundrasier. We keep pretty private about it, but MS affected our family a few years ago. When my brother was diagnosed with MS, we had no idea how to react. We had to educate ourselves about this disease and how it affects a person’s body. It’s aggressive and can completely change a person’s life style based on if they are having an ok day or a horrible episode of the disease. There is no cure yet, and the medicines for it are still experimental. We realized so many people have this and we want to help.

We are donating a portion of our sales that day. We will also be doing give-aways and raffles. All of that money will go towards the fundraiser. Our amazing Downtown Fayetteville neighbors are donating items for this. My brother is also doing a walk fundraiser this Saturday in Florida. This is our way of support. Thanks so much!!
