Screen On The Green & Food Truck Rodeo!

I have been on the hunt for an outdoor movie experience to share with the family this summer and thanks to Spring Lake, I’ve found the perfect one!
“Spring Lake Recreation and Parks is proud to announce the 2018 Screen on the Green and Food Truck Rodeo! This year’s schedule will begin on Friday, June 8th. All movies are free and will be shown at Mendoza Park. Festivities begin at 6:00 pm and will conclude at 10:00 pm. Grab your lawn chairs or blankets and head to the park for great entertainment. This year, we are adding food trucks! To meet all your hunger cravings, there will be an array of food trucks on hand to meet your hunger needs.” – Spring Lake
Mendoza Park (Spring Lake)
Located on Highway 87 just south of the Cumberland/Harnett County line, Mendoza Park is a beautiful and spacious facility. It is an ideal place to escape the pressures of the day and relax, or play with your children and have a fun time outdoors. This is one of several facilities offered for the enjoyment of the citizens of Spring Lake and the surrounding area.
Amenities include:
- Three baseball/softball fields
- Three picnic areas
- A large playground area with swings, slides, and deck systems
- A large open space area
- An area for leisure walking
- Restroom facilities
- Park benches
- Concessions
