Hi ya’ll! I’m super excited to be writing this guest post for the wonderful Mrs. Tee while she is on her much needed vacation. Tiffany has been wanting to know how to tone up your body and how to do so without losing weight, so I’m going to give you 2 main tips today along with some exercises.
1. Focus on clean eating.
You don’t need to starve yourself or count points or go on any of these “fab diets”.. Instead of “dieting” you should focus on eating high protein foods that are low in calories and low in saturated fats. These foods include things such as veggies, fruits, whole grains, and lean meats and fish.
2. Begin a weight training program.
You training program should take place 3 to 4 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes each session. After you complete your weight training session then you should complete a cardio session for about 30 minutes. You can take a light jog or brisk walk on the treadmill or around the neighborhood.
Here are some weight training exercises you can do:
**Do not attempt these exercises without first learning to do them properly. Improper use of gym equipment could cause serious injury. Your local gym more than likely has a personal trainer, so please consult with them if you need help.**
1. Chest Press
2. Squat
3. Biceps Arm Curl
4. Seated Cable Row
5. Leg Press
6. Overhead Press
7. Lateral Raise
What I have learned is that there are many people who either cannot afford a gym membership or cannot make time to visit a gym due to work schedules or due to the kiddos. If you are one of these people, then don’t worry. There are still effective exercises that you can do from the comfort of your own home with little to no use of equipment.
Here are some body weight exercises you do on your own:
**Do not attempt these exercises without first learning to do them properly. Doing so could cause injury.**
1. Squat
2. Push Up
3. Bridge Up
4. Lunge
5. Plank
6. Tricpes Dip
7. Single Leg Dead Lift

I love working out at my place along my friends, when I come back home after work.
I think having friends around you makes things so much more fun…
Lord knows I miss my size 4 body. I'm working hard to lose the weight that I gained from taking steroids. Weight training is an awesome tool not just for toning but weight loss in general. Since having more muscle burns more fat, I'm all for an at home workout that is easy to follow and simple.
I love at home workouts! Like you said, they're easy to follow, simple and convienent! 🙂
