It’s Me, Tee…
Hi, I’m Tiffany Haywood! Born and raised in Da Bronx, New York, I’m a former military spouse and proud mom to five amazing kids ranging from 27 years old down to 2 years old. Yes, I have a couple of extra-large gaps in there (27, 17, 15, 13, and 2!)—and no, I don’t always know what I was thinking… but it’s all part of my beautiful journey, right? Oh, and I’m also a proud avó (Portuguese for grandma!) to my 2-month-old grandson, who’s the latest and greatest addition to TeamHaywood.
As a family, we’ve lived in North Carolina, Hawaii, and back again, and those experiences have taught me to cherish the important things in life and make every moment count.
I’m the ‘Tee’ behind It’s Me, Tee, an Award-Winning Lifestyle Blog I started in 2013. I created it as a space to share my love for all things Faith, Family, Fashion, Food, Fun, Tech, and Travel. Through my blog and social media presence, I’ve had the privilege of supporting small businesses, entrepreneurs, SHEpreneurs, causes, and people I believe in.
Known within the blogging community for my attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to feature-worthy content, I’ve had the opportunity to promote and support popular brands with my own unique voice, style, and perspective.
Some highlights of my journey include being featured as a 2020 Association of Military Spouse Entrepreneurs Black-Owned Business, 2020 Way To Parent Cover Feature (Mother’s Day Edition), and 2019 Bunker Labs Roundtable: Military Spouse Founders. I was also honored to be named a 2019 Top 50 North Carolina Blogger, a 2018 WRAL Voters’ Choice Top 2 Winner, and a 2016 VOTY Award Honoree. Additionally, I’ve contributed to CityView Magazine, Modern Social Magazine (formerly iBlog Magazine), and BlogHer.
I’ve been a panelist on the MomsEveryday TV Show for two seasons and a cast member of The Listen to Your Mother Show 2017 Grand Finale. Through my writing, how-to guides, event reviews, and YouTube Channel, I’ve connected with readers and viewers one click at a time.
In 2017, I founded TiffanyHaywood.com to share my knowledge and help other entrepreneurs succeed. Through my brand consultation services, I provide actionable tips and solutions to help business owners grow by building their brands. I love empowering others to pursue their passions and make their businesses thrive.
I’ve also had the opportunity to be a co-host on WIDU’s “What’s Going On Fayetteville” and a recurring segment host on iTalk The Conversation, as part of The Ray Thomas LIVE Variety Show on Bronco iRadio.
From 2019 to 2021, I worked as a Business Consultant at the Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville (CEED), where I focused on social media and marketing. This role allowed me to share my passion for helping women and small businesses grow through financial literacy, hands-on workshops, and marketing support.
Since stepping away from WBCFay, I’ve refocused on growing my businesses, continuing my education, supporting my community, and, of course, raising my newest family member!
I’m currently exploring a new phase in life, determined not only to live but to THRIVE. This journey includes my on-site series Finding My True Path, which has been a meaningful part of my personal growth and is the beginning of my upcoming semi-autobiographical book project.
I’m also thrilled to share that my chapter A Predestined Purpose is part of the newly published Titus 2 Principle Anthology. It expresses my belief that even through struggles, God is always working toward my ultimate good, and reminds us that despite hardships, there’s always triumph on the other side. The book is available for purchase!
My advice to anyone looking to build a business around their purpose is simple: “Embrace every moment, trust the journey, and believe that everything works for your good. Lead with faith, stay true to yourself, and let your light inspire others.”
