Have you ever had a day when it just seemed like life itself was set against you? Maybe a situation you wanted to go one way went completely left and you couldn’t figure out why? Or someone seemingly random crossed your path and for a reason you didn’t know left an impact in your day? Do you have a testimony that you feel could lift someone else from a low place? Or simply a personal praise that may brighten someone else’s day?
In my life I call my these Godly set-ups my 8:28 Blessings.

MY 8:28 Blessing:
When I started my Blog, actually before I started it I prayed over it. I prayed about the name, the vision for it, my bio, the audience I wanted to reach, my purpose for starting it…everything. I wanted to be sure that I had not only God’s blessing but His guidance and His favor as well. I wanted my pursuits in every area of my blog to be lead and guided by Him.
So, once I actually started designing, posting and searching for the right communities to become a part of I never ended that prayer. “Lord grant me your favor”.
About 10 years ago, an evangelist in my home church taught on the Prayer of Jabez:
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying,
Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me,
and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”
I Chronicles 4:10 (NIV)
How powerful is this prayer? Even though it was no more than a few words it speaks volumes. Jabez was a man more honorable (vs.9) than his bretheren yet his mother named him according to the sorrow she bore him out of. In spite of these unfavorable circumstances, Jabez had a heart and desire for God. His prayer was one requesting blessing, favor (God’s hand) and protection from evil. Guess what?!?! God granted his prayer.
If God granted Jabez his requests, I expected no less for my own. Guess what?!?!? My God never fails me. Since starting on July 19th God has done nothing but enlarge my territory, MrsTeeLoveLifeLaughter.com has been granted favor far exceeding my expectations…

I’ve also been blessed to meet, tweet and create friendships with some pretty amazing Bloggers (see them here) and to become a part of some awesome Blogging Communities (see their buttons on my right sidebar). All of this is an answer to my prayer from before I started to lead me a guide me to the right people and good people for what God has planned for me and my Blog.
On top of everything else I already had to be grateful for, I received my very first CASH payment for a Sponsored Post this week. I was so excited to get that message from PayPal saying a payment had been received I almost didn’t know what to do with myself. So I did what came most naturally…I shared my Praise Story… Social Media Style:
I was always taught when you receive a blessings or an answered prayer from God to share it. By sharing you may offer encouragement to the next person who may still be waiting on their blessing or answer that God is faithful. This is why I share my story today, not in pride or boastfulness, but to offer Glory to God for granting His favor simply because I ask. Like Jabez, I prayed and believed that God would do it and just as He did with Jabez then He granted my requests.
