MY 8:28 Blessing:

With the government shutdown and furlough this week I was reminded of how blessed I am to have been found by the man I have the honor to call my Hubby.

By nature I am a person who needs to have order in practically every area of my life.  When that order is disrupted it send me into a spiral of stress and worry.  I try my best to remain calm and hold on to my mustard seed (faith) but that is not something that comes easy to me.  I have prayed and made faith a habit in my life by practicing it repeatedly when under pressure.  This does not mean that my natural tendency for worry does not still make an appearance.

This week was one of those situations where learning that the government decided to ‘shut down’ and thereby disrupt the order of my family and our life called my worrisome traits to the forefront.  Fortunately for me my Hubby is the complete opposite.  When face with adversity, difficulties and unforeseen challenges he simply adjusts and reacts.  I can’t remember a time where I’ve seen him panic or even worry.  He goes silent and comes up with a plan.

That’s why this week my #828Blessing is my Hubby.  I am, eternally grateful to God for sending my Kiddies and I a covering a protector who is able to balance out my personality and still maintain the broad range of situations we may face as a family.  I am so happy and proud to be a part of his Team.

Only My God could pair me with a man who is right for me emotionally, spiritually as well as physically.

Now its you’re turn…
Come, share, connect and fellowship…. with your #828Blessings

This is one of my favorite verses. Try to enjoy your time off even though it isn't your choice. 🙂

😀 It's not really the time off as much as the disruption of pay but I know God is more than able.

I love this! My hubby acts the same way when things are going so well…he's extremely quiet because he's thinking and wants to come up with a plan. I love it! God blessed us with fine men who know how to run their homes! xoxo
