Hey guys! This week I wanted to give another one of my little twists to #AskAwayFriday and share with you 10 things I bet ya didn’t know about me…are you ready? Let’s Go!
Welcome back to the best link up around…#AskAwayFriday!
What is #AskAwayFriday? Well…
#AskAwayFriday was created by the amazingPenny from Real Housewife of Caroline County and Amber from Bold Fit Mom, as a way to connect with other bloggers with a great Q & A session of 10 questions and 10 answers, between 2 Bloggers! This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know others while allowing others to get to know you and of course there is also the added bonus of making great friends along the way which is one of the best parts of this online world!
We wish Amber nothing but the best as she works to pursue her business and fitness ventures. We will miss having her as a CoHost but know that she has nothing but great success ahead.
When one door closes, another one opens…

Now, let me share a few things I Bet Ya Didn’t Know about me, MrsTee…
I earned my brown belt in karate at 10 – but then got kicked out for kicking this little punk below the belt after he took a low blow punch on me…aaah well 😉
I played piano for nearly 11 years – in recitals, public performances and even won a few savings bonds. I stopped because it wasn’t really a passion…
I used to bite my nails obsessively until I discovered the beauty of a professional manicure and acrylic. No more nail biting for me!
I wore acid wash jeans proudly and shorts…LOL Sorry no pictures 🙁
I owned a pink, black and white pair of LA Gear WITH the mix matched laces!
I didn’t have my first cup of coffee until I was 19. Yeah, late-bloomer I know!
I wasn’t allowed to listen to non-gospel (wordly) music until I was 18 and considered an adult.
I used to want to be a budding artist. I drew everything in high school and even considered taking it up as a major.
I also wanted to be a lawyer teacher and journalist. Yup all at once. Lol
I didn’t learn how to drive until I was 26. My future hubby actually taught me!
BONUS
I just came back from an awesome mini family vacay a Great Wolf Lodge Charlotte and I can’t wait to share the awesomeness with you guys so stay tuned in the next week or so! PS – Totally NOT Sponsored so it’s just my honest reaction…as always xoxoxo 🙂

I always wanted to take Karate, but my mom would not let me, because she said that it was for boys. I would have also loved to learn the piano, but took clarinet instead. Loved the LA Gear shoes that I had as a kid…oh and the days of the "acid wash"! LOL! Have a great weekend!
My recent post #AskAwayFriday with Jen from Nanna’s Wisdom!
Well I loved karate and I am so glad my Grandmother never thought anything was for girls or boys just for fun…LOL I actually played clarinet as well in elementary and middle school. LOL Have a great weekend Stacey!
I owned some of those type of la gear shoes. I also had some other shoes that were cool back in the day but I can't remember the name. They had little triangles that you could swap out.

I tried piano lessons, but I was awful at them and I hated practicing. I love that my daughter is interested in the violin and will be joining the middle school band next year, though!
Wait! Not driving until 26??? How is that even possible? I wanted to drive the second I turned 16! And L.A. gear, you crack me up. I so remember those shoes! Loved reading this. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Yup!! In my defense I lived in New York so I could walk, cab, train or bus it just about anywhere at anytime. LA Gear were the best!! Thanks so much Kirsten and I hope you are having a great weekend as well.
Ooh, Great Wolf Lodge! That sounds incredible.
I remember LA Gear shoes and I had them too!! So good.
And I had tried coffee throughout life and LOVED it, but it wasn't until I was 19 that I discovered I could drink decaf and still like the taste but without the bad side effects. I'm sad it doesn't work for me otherwise.

It was so much fun Tamara for us and the kiddies!! Look for my recap soon 🙂 Decaf?!?! I can’t. It tastes so different to me. It’s probably all in my head though… Lol
Piano! My grandmother taught me how to play, but not formally. I just enjoyed it so much. Arielle starts piano lessons tomorrow! I hope it becomes a passion for her…or at least I hope she gets a few savings bonds from it. 🙂 I loved your twist on AAF this week! Thanks for hosting, it's been so long since I linked up! Actually, I think you were my last partner last year.
Yes!! I loved it for a while but it just didn’t become a Passion. I do want my children to learn just for the experience and to see if it becomes more to any of them. My Teenager plays a bit now and I regret not starting him when he was younger. Thanks so much and it’s always great to have you as a part of the AAF Fun Gracielle!
I love that you gave him a once over! Girl, I was 32 before I discovered the greatness of coffee. I can't believe it took me so long! I was so proud of my LA Gears and wore them proudly with my Cross Color jeans in bright red!
