To say I’m a busy Mom may be putting things a bit lightly with two Kiddies in elementary school and The Teenager starting his Sophomore year of college the pressure of Back To School is a reality. Between drop-offs, pick-ups, errands, activities and more I am always on the go. So finding a way to be #JustACallAway while staying within our budget is key. This year, thanks to Walmart’s Family Mobile Plan I’m happy to say that’s one less thing on my To Do List!
Starting my day at 5am and pretty much going until late in the evening is busy but it can also make staying available to those who may need me difficult. Thank goodness for technology! Still, with that technology comes added costs and for a family of 8 it can be daunting. That’s why when I found out that Walmart offers a Family Mobile Plan for just $29.88 per month (for the first line) that includes Unlimited Talk, Text & Data including 1G of 4G LTE data I knew this was something I needed to know more about.

This plan means no more worrying about talking too long or texting too much. I can be free to check on my Teenager in college by text receive calls for any emergencies that may come up with my younger Kiddies as well as use the great Apps available to stay on top of our busy schedules.
My family can be sure that I am always #JustACallAway whenever they need me whether it be for an emergency pick-up, last-minute errand to be run or just a way to touch base throughout the day – this plan is the one for me.
Setting up the Walmart Family Mobile Plan at Walmart was amazingly easy. I selected my phone – the LG G Stylo and picked up my WFM (Walmart Family Plan) Starter Kit. After purchasing the phone and the kit the only thing left to do was activate my phone and get my new number. The process took me no more than 15 minutes and I was ready to walk out the store and try out all the fun features of my new phone.
The Walmart Family Mobile Plan gives me the freedom of post-paid billing – that’s right you pay after you’ve used it – with easy payment options by SMS Message, AutoPay, Online, In Store or By Phone.
Ooooh! I almost forgot to tell you about the phone! The LG G Stylo is a bit out of my comfort zone since I normally have an apple based phone BUT this is a phone I could easily fall in love with – the 5.7 inch display, Stylus Pen, and amazing 13MP Camera have definitely won me over. The Stylus Pen has become my best friend – I thought I texted fast before but this little beauty helps me stay in touch and in time with ease and speed!
Oh and this phone even speaks to my Blogger side with the Auto Selfie Mode which takes a Selfie with either a hand gesture or simply when I say “LG”!
Once I had my phone all set up I was able to put it to the Busy Mom test. Would it be able to keep up with me and my family? It certainly did! Whether I was in the car, on the go or even at home working I was able to know that thanks to the reliability of the Walmart Family Mobile Service Plan I am always #JustACallAway.
How often do you call/text family throughout the day

This phone looks awesome! It's so much bigger than my phone! And I love WFM- it's so much more affordable!
I love it! What type of phone do you have now? This one has a 5.7 inch screen but it is so worth it for the amazing image quality.
OMG Auto Selfie Mode? That is amazing!
Yesssss!!! I’m in heaven I tell ya!!
I like that phone. It's nice and big. I use a Samsung Note 4 and about to upgrade to the 5.
Yes! That’s part of what I am loving – it’s similar in size to the iPhone 6 Plus but there are so many other things I’m loving. Oh be careful…Hubby just got the 5 and it is actually smaller than the Note 4!
This is perfect! LOVE WFM! <3
It is! Budget Perfect and techie perfect too… I am falling in love with this phone! 🙂
Sounds like a great plan. I text all the time!
It is. So do I. Why call if you can text I say…lol
I personally don't text a lot. The kids do though, especially my teen who likes that better than talking.
Yes, my teen is a text a folic for sure. I think they forget it\’s a even a phone. LOL
my husband is thinking about switching to t moble. its pay as you go, right?
It's actually with the Wal*Mart family mobile plan which is through Wal*Mart itself and it works as a post paid account. You would receive your phone today and pay for the use at the end of the month. Click any of the Wal*Mart links within the post for detailed pricing 🙂 It's definitely a budget friendly option.
Family mobile plans are the best because they help you save money. My daughter needs a new phone and this sounds like a great plan. We are not under contract with any plans, so I think we can easily switch.
Agreed Esme! Contracts can be really binding and restricting but with Walmart’s post-paid family plans you don’t need to worry about that I think they even let you bring your own phone if you have one 🙂
You had me at auto selfie mode! Definitely a blogger's dream! My son is about to be 10 and we are thinking about phones.. this may be a great choice.
RIGHT?!?! I was like Please and Thank You! LOL… He will love it plus it has expandable memory with an SD Card for all those game apps he will probably want 🙂
This looks like a great phone and I love the Walmart mobile plans!
I’m falling in love with it with every tap….LOL Yes, the plans are very budget friendly especially with the Unlimited option 🙂
When we first moved to the USA, we already had our Canadian phones (we use BlackBerrie's). But we did end up popping into Walmart right as soon as we crossed the Detroit/Canada boarder to pick up a new sim card and phone plan. Which we have been using continuously ever since we moved here back in 2014. I just now need to upgrade my phone to something that supports iPhone apps… I'm missing out haha 🙂
Blackberry!!! I had a Blackberry for years!! That\’s awesome that you were able to find everything you needed in one stop! Yay Walmart!! Haha… well Walmart actually has the iPhone now… Yay 😉
This is great, I am a busy mom and I need to get a new phone and plan. I didn't know Walmart had this service available!
I didn’t either…it is definitely budget friendly and great for staying connected!
