So when the Winter Weather Advisory started last night I honestly didn’t expect much of anything, especially snow. Yet we still got the call this morning that our 2 hour delay had been turned into a No School day and when we went out side we got a chance to see a bit of nature’s best ice art …
How was your weather?
Did Snowmagedon make a visit or the Elsa with her Ice?

Sadly, we're similar here. No snow though, just ice. Brr!
Thanks so much for linking up with Oh My Heartsie Girls Wordless Wednesday. I hope we see you again this week!
We only just got snow today…the kiddies are having a blast! Thank you for coming by!
Cool captures! I'm planning to share an icicle photo next week, too. Schools are cancelled tomorrow because it's so cold.

Neat. Can’t wait to see them!! We’ve been out all week…
love the icicles! I haven't tried to capture any shots of the ice yet – but we definitely have much of it!
perhaps once it warms up a bit — but then I suppose they will all start melting!
They were so pretty. I may not like being out in it but the beauty of it can’t be denied…
That last shot is absolutely beautiful… 🙂
Happy Wordless Wednesday!
Thanks so much!! Glad to have you come by…
You nabbed some great macro shots there! No offence, though. I can't wait till the ice melts. Is it spring yet?

Thanks!!! Trust me no offense taken…I’m more than ready to take a few shots of some spring flowers.
Hi, we had a blast of ice too, but lost power. I can't wait for winter to be over so I can take pretty flower pictures. I love the play of ice and tone in your pictures. 😉

Flowers are great for photos…I loved how the ice looked. I had fun playing around with it. 🙂
She visited us with ice. Lots of it. We didn't have power for almost 18 hours.

OMGoodness…Elsa has been busy! Thankfully we didn\’t loose power. I hope everything is back up and running for you…
Your photos are beautiful! It's too cold to go outside here. I am getting sick and tired of winter.

It can be. I love how it seems to stop time. Thanks so much for hosting and for coming by Ashleigh!
Ice is always so lovely to look at from a safe distance! That is, I think, all I miss about it lol!
Down here on the Coast, we are chilly – when I started the car this morning, it read 22…which is much colder than we ever want to be!
My recent post (Almost) Wordless Wednesday – Camellia Blooms
Haha! Yes a safe distance is key 🙂 We are supposed to drop to 17…I don\’t plan on being outside for that LOL Thanks so much for coming by Jen!
Seriously love the pictures!
Thanks a bunch!! 🙂
We were hit by Octavia on Monday, leaving in its wake ice covered streets, down power lines, stranded motorists, closed businesses, and at least one fatality that I heard about. DH got out yesterday to clear off our hilly drive and car off, then ventured to work this morning. The main arteries were clear for the most part, which we expected. Our neighborhood streets were still covered by thick layers of ice, but wheel tracks from yesterday made it possible for him to reach dry roads. It's currently snowing fairly heavily, but we expected to get much accumulation and it's a bone chilling 21ºF. BRRR! Stay warm and happy #WW!
Sounds a lot like what we are dealing with now minus the snow. We got all ice. Our temps got as low as 17 which is beyond cold. Luckily it seems to be warming up a bit. Thanks so much for coming by Cathy!
Now that is cold arrrghh brrrr 🙂
Have an icetastic week

I'm in Tennessee and were dealing with Elsa weather. We are going stir crazy. Living on a hill turned ice skating rink is no fun. The kids and I watched countless cars try to get up the hill.
Elsa weather is right. We’ve been inside for about 3 days now and seen a fair amount of cars ‘dancing’ as they tried to make it across the ice.
Great photo. I am so lucky to be living here in Northern Cal where it is pretty nice. WOW.

Thanks. Yes you are lucky 🙂
I live in Phoenix, so there was no ice to be found outside! It was actually really warm here–some days were in the 80s!

Wow. I guess we are complete opposite sides of the weather.
Ice is such a great photo subject, nice shots. We got our blast on Sunday night., so no school Monday. But I still had to make it in to work.
Thanks. Well looks we have have another blast coming our way tonight and no school tomorrow LMBO. Stay safe.
Great photos…. I especially like the last two. Isn't it amazing how there is beauty in so many places we wouldn't suspect it to be.

Thanks Patricia. Yes the oddest places can hold such amazing beauty.
