Today I’m joining in on the writing fun with MamaKat’s Writing Workshop and writing about something funny my child said. Now if you follow me on Facebook or Twitter you know that I already share a bunch of my Kiddies funny moments there through #KiddieLogic so picking one wasn’t really hard it was just a matter of what was the funniest to me today!
3yr old Buddie – I have to be good to everyone – except bad guys
5yr old Baby Girlie – You don’t mess with bad guys. You run hide and let Daddy handle them.
7yr Big Girlie – Yeah we don’t mess with bad guys.
I have no idea how this little conversation of theirs began but this was the part I heard and I was cracking up on the inside. I mean on the one hand I happy to know that my son understands that being good is something he needs to do. I am also happy to know he knows to be good to everyone.
Then come the bad guys.
I’m not sure what bad guys they have every encountered in their lives. Whether they are talking villains, robbers or some other Kiddie imagined person but I am also really happy that my Girlie knows not to mess with them.
Run and hide.
Always good advice I’d say. At least I know she isn’t going to be the one trying to defend anything…lol
Let Daddy Handle them.
This is the part I felt a bit mooshie about. My Kiddies honestly believe their Daddy is a super hero. If you ask them they’ll tell you and with not a bit of humor involved. To them he is a Super Hero. Period. So I wasn’t even surprised when I heard her tell her brother to let Daddy handle it because to them he can handle anything. Isn’t that how Kiddies should see their Daddy? I think so.
Thanks MamaKat for the awesome prompts this week. Be sure to head over and be a part…

I love this. And I think it's awesome how you can see how their perspectives are slightly different depending on their age. Love the "let daddy handle them" one though!

Super sweet that they know Daddy will come to the rescue! My three kiddos have similar conversations about bad guys! It's always fun to sit back and listen to what they come up with!
