“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received a Kohl’s gift card to facilitate my post and as a thank you for participating.”
Most Momma’s who go shopping usually end up picking things for everyone in their family except themselves. That’s why when Kohl’s gave me the chance to have update my Springtime look with a mini-shopping spree all my own plus a $75 Gift Card I was so excited to get started.
As I entered the store I knew that there were endless possibilities to the outfits I could create. Not only were there amazing designers like Jennifer Lopez, Daisy Fuentes, Vera Wang and more BUT I was also able to see many different options for numerous looks and styles I could create.
Shopping for myself was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be. I am so used to picking out things on a whim or merely out of necessity. To actually take the time to select something simply because I liked it was fun and a bit challenging.
The first thing I wanted to find was something that screamed out spring to me. I wanted it to be fun, flirty and bright yet still Momma appropriate. I found it in this great ELLE blouse in what I consider to be an ultimate springtime color…mint green! I grabbed it as soon as I saw it. Not only did it have a perfectly modern and pretty little circle graphic but it was also comfortable. The back is made out of a t-shirt like material while the front is still flirty and flows just like a blouse. I also loved the cut of the sleeves which were short but not completely sleeveless.
Next I wanted to find something that could act as a staple in my wardrobe but also keep the blouse as the focus of the look. When I saw this black Apt. 9 Pencil Skirt I knew I found what I was looking for. The skirt had a really great skinny belt that came with it plus woman knows a great fitting pencil skirt is definitely a must in your closet!
This look would work great as a business casual look or even church:
After finding an outfit I knew would work for a dressed up look I started looking for a way to switch it up a bit with another piece. That was when I came across these great Vera Wang pants.
They have a great fit and the material is so comfortable. It isn’t jean and the feel is as soft as a pair of leggings with a more sophisticated look. I knew with these pants I could take my business casual/church outfit and have it work great as a Momma’s Day with the Kiddies look.

I would like to thank Mom Central Consulting and Kohl’s for giving me the chance to find a perfect start to my Springtime looks and also make a great wish list for adding to it later.
