The life of a Military family can be one full of ups and downs as well as many emotional changes. Moving, separation and learning to handle the stress of being the ones at home while their loved one is away. Military Appreciation Month is a way to offer support not only to our Soldiers but to their families as well. A kind word, a hug, or even a simple acknowledgement for their sacrifice can go a long way.
ChevySalutes recognizes this with their amazing Military Discount Program. During the month of May, #ChevySalutes offers Military Members (Active Duty, Retirees, and Reserves) and their Families (including Spouses) the ability to purchase New and Used Chevy vehicles using one of the Best Military Purchase Programs in the industry.
Having a reliable vehicle is something that can be so important especially if you are that spouse at home during a deployment and perhaps stationed in a city, state or country that you have no one but yourself to rely on. I was that spouse and I remember one day when my truck gave out on me with my kids in the back seat and I went into panic mode. There are times the things others take for granted when their spouse is home that are not so easy when you’re living a Military life apart.
Thanks to programs like ChevySalutes Military Members and Families can take one thing off their list of worries and concerns. As a Military Family, your focus is always set on that reunion moment and with the help of this program they can afford a reliable vehicle and focus their thoughts on supporting their Soldier and keeping their family strong until that long anticipated day arrives.

ChevySalutes recognizes that sometimes Soldiers and their Families also need tangible support and they do that with their support of programs such as the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Warriors by offering the talent of their Chevy engineers to help design a better constructed hand cycle to help them in their sport and passion.
“The Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans comprises true athletes who have overcome life-changing injuries by competing in various marathons across the country. ” -Chevy
ChevySalutes also supports Military Families through their work with Cell Phones for Soldiers which works to provide free communication to Active Duty Military Members and Veterans. Causes like these help make the lives of not only the Solider but their Family easier by providing those things that may otherwise be a difficulty.
Yet Military Appreciation is not something that is limited to large companies. You can show your appreciation to our Military and their families by simply taking a moment to let them know how grateful you are for their sacrifices at home and abroad. ChevySalutes is offering a great and fun way to do this. Head over to ChevySalutes.com and enter their Instagram Contest by simply posting a photo or video on Instagram with the hashtag #ChevySalutes of your Military Hero or sending a thank you to our Troops.
How great is that!?! You get a chance to show our Troops and Military Heroes how much you appreciate them and the chance to win some amazing prizes! So take a moment, snap a photo or write a Thank You and let your Military Hero know how much you appreciate them during this month set aside for Military Appreciation. I promise it will not go unappreciated.

Yes, any family that has been or is military understands the struggles and things that come up. Chevy is definitely taking a big step towards supporting and helping us.
Thanks for sharing, I look forward to checking out the #ChevySalutes hashtag. I may need a box of Kleenex handy for that.
XOXO
Yes, you probably will. The video really hit home with me and it\’s wonderful how #ChevySalutes is going above and beyond to show their Military Appreciation.
What a great program! I love to see support for our military…their sacrifices, as well as military families, are many. Many thanks to you and your husband, Tiffany.
