Friday night I had the amazing opportunity to once again check something off my First Time Experience List yes folks I have one and I can officially say that I went to my very 1s Monster Jam Truck Show!!
Let me start by saying I honestly did not even know this was something I actually wanted to do until I found out that I would be able to attend thanks to the Crown Complex here in Fayetteville, NC.
After looking up Monster Jam and doing a bit of research. The Trucks, the Drivers and the passion they have for what they do added to my already building excitement. The night of the event, I actually went to the wrong Box Office entrance and had to walk around to the other side BUT this was a total blessing in disguise because we walked right pass the a few of the trucks as they were practicing and getting ready to enter the complex.
Once we got to our seats I was surprised by the sound level from the trucks! I had no idea how loud those revved up engines could get. It honestly reminded me a lot of Nascar. Luckily Monster Jam provides the coolest headsets to help with the sound for the Kiddies and they make really great souvenirs too.
Once I had my Kiddies settled and comfortable it was time for the fun to start. The dirt raising, engine racing Monster Jam fun and boy did these Drivers give us just that. From the very start we had heart stopping moments when the trucks would leave the ground for what felt like the longest time even though it was probable less than a minute.
I was shocked by the gravity defying lifts and jumps and the speed these Monster-sized trucks could reach. I was also amazed by the true passion the Drivers had. When Randy Brown won he came right into the audience for photos and to meet his fans. My brother-in-law was even able to get a great Selfie before he left.
Not only did we create an amazing memory as a family but my Girls both had the chance to witness a true Girl Power moment when they realized that the Driver of MonsterMutt was a Girl!! They were both in awe and so shocked because they thought that to drive a Monster Truck you definitely had to be a guy. So when Candice stepped out of Monster Mutt and waved at the crowd – that moment for me was priceless. Even though her truck was unable to finish the race she showed sportsmanship and just how much she rocked either way.
Umm so THIS happened!!! Awesome Driver for Monster Jam Truck #MonsterMutt Candice Jolly responded to my Instagram…Posted by Mrsteelovelifelaughter on Saturday, April 18, 2015

I think he would totally love it! My little Buddie didn\’t go this time but I am definitely planning to take him to the next one. Once my Girlies had their headsets in place they were good to go!
What a crazy night! My first thought when you said it was loud was, poor kids who come with their parents are going to get their eardrums busted! But I think it's so cool that they provide headsets for children so the whole family can enjoy the event. I'm pretty sure the truck Grave Digger has been around since I was in high school!
My recent post Too Loud!
It is definitely family friendly…kids were all over the place but the headsets were definitely a must. I have never heard of anything Monster Jam but I know GraveDigger definitely had an amazing following in that audience! 😀
