When we pulled in the Disney World Resorts area I was so exhausted all I could do was search for the sign that would lead me to a bed. We were staying at the Saratoga Resort & Spa and when I saw the Check-In Cottage I knew that making the decision to live the Resort Life during this vacation was definitely a smart one. Once we were all checked-in and all the business of a vacation was taken care of it was off to our Villa.
Now we were traveling as a family of 8 with a niece which made 9. We had reserved a Villa that roomed 8 knowing that the little Kiddies could co-sleep. I’m not sure what I expected but what I saw when we opened the door was so much more.
Do you see that bed? It was amazing and so big! Then came the Master Bath…Oh Emm Gee! That tub was beyond perfection..I think I sat in there every night for at least an hour no matter what time we came in. The jets were like a mini massage. We had a full kitchen with microwave, full size fridge, a full stock of dishes and silverware plus a breakfast bar.
Then there was the second bathroom…totally amazing and great for the Kiddies to use while not bothering me in the tub! LOL This Villa and all the details that were taken to make it special was definitely something I can say I loved and another part of what convinced me that Resort Life is THE Life!
After we got settled in for a bit and had the Teenagers and 20 year old all set to babysit, Hubby and I decided to take the shuttle boat (Yes another great perk of the resort life!) and head over to Downtown Disney to see what was there. Little did we know this would be our only Date Night the entire vacation but it was so much fun I can honestly say I didn’t even mind. We walked, talked and explored making plans for what fun we would have with our Kiddies the next morning…
In addition to the magical amenities staying at a Disney World Resort allowed us access to the Disney Shuttle and Bus services to and from each park as well as the all of the great pools, spas, restaurants and pubs located on resort property.
Want to see more amazing photos of our Villa? That’s right there’s more!
I haven’t even gotten to the second bedroom and bath or the Buffet nook!
Plus more photos from our walk around Downtown Disney!

I'm so jealous! I need a vacay STAT! Lol. I especially love that you got to take a bath. Like sit. In an actual tub. For longer than 10 seconds. With kids in tow. That NEVER happens in my life!
Thanks for sharing with the SHINE Blog Hop! I look forward to connecting more with you and reading about your adventures.
LMBO… tha”s where I was before we did this one. It was SO needed!
Oh this was the first time I sat in a tub in I don’t know how long…! It probably isn’t going to happen again any time soon…LOL
Thanks for being such a wonderful Hop 🙂
Now THAT was a vacation!
Haha… And there\’s more!! Stay Tuned 😉
We have never stayed at a WDW hotel, but we would love to be able to afford to stay at one of the moderately priced ones. Saratoga Springs looks really nice. We have stayed at Downtown Disney hotels and like being able to walk to downtown Disney. Luckily the Downtown Disney hotels also offer bus transportation to and from the parks. I'm looking forward to hearing more about our Disney vacation.
My recent post Weekly Goals 7/20 to 7/26
There are really resorts for a lot of price ranges which is really awesome. The bus and shuttle transport was so convenient because trust me by that time the last thing I wanted to do was drive anywhere…LOL
Stay Tuned…. 😉
