Movies! They have to be my most favorite past time ever! I love snuggling up on the couch and watching the classics but I think I may love heading to my favorite movie theater and discovering a new favorite even more! Last month I shared a few of my Must See Movies and I decided that I wanted to do the same for December.

December definitely has an awesome line up of some pretty amazing movies! Action, Drama, Thriller and of course the Newest Holiday picks just waiting to become next year’s classics. I can’t wait to share my Must See picks with you!

Believe

Believe is a movie I can see becoming a part of my Christmas movie rotation. The holidays are always the time for a real feel good movie. One that let’s you walk away knowing that there is still good in the world. The story of a man who looses his faith and finds it through the kindness of a child who believes things happen when you believe in your heart! I can’t wait to share this one with my entire family!

The Bounce Back

Romantic Comedies have always been a favorite for me and when I saw that The Bounce Back with Bill Bellamy was being released I knew that it had to be added to my list. PS – did I forget to mention Shemar Moore? Yeah. Nuff said.

The Office Christmas Party

The Office Christmas Party just promises to be a seriously funny movie! I mean Jason Bateman is so hilarious and I’m not sure people realize it. Okay well maybe I was late to the Bateman party but once  I saw him in Identity Thief with Melissa McArthy. After seeing that I trust his comedy skills. Oh and don’t forget Jennifer Aniston she can bring you to the point of hating her and finding her hilarious in a matter of moments.

Rogue One

Do I really even need to explain why I NEED to see this movie? I mean it’s Star Wars folks! I know it’s not a part of the main story but Lucas Films is all I need to draw me in. Seriously. That’s it. I’m seeing Rogue One! BUT in case you need a bit more convincing…

“From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.” –Press Release

This movie is certain to be great! Not only do we finally get a look at another side of the Star Wars world but we get great actors like Donnie Yen who’s intensity, sparks of humor and of course action skills I originally saw when he portrayed IpMan. I know with him as a part of this amazing cast I can expect drama, action and intrigue!

I couldn’t end this without mentioning the fact that Forrest Whitaker is also a part of the cast. His sense of drama and timing is one I know will add to the post in it’s one of a kind way!

Collateral Beauty

Collateral Beauty is a movie that I knew I wanted to see the moment I saw the preview. Will Smith has an amazing ability to bring not only skill to his roles but an emotion that reaches you no matter where you are. He gives life and feeling to the words he says and the actions he brings to life not he screen. This movies puts me in mind of The Pursuit of Happyness. The type of story that nearly everyone can relate to in some way. I can’t wait to see this!

Assassin’s Creed

I promise I have spentmany a lonely night thanks to Assassin’s Creed. How you say when this movie is just coming out? Well because this movie is based on one of the best video games of all time (according to both my Hubby and Son). I agree because I have observed them playing for hours at a time sand despite wanting  turn somehow my turn never seemed to come around.

All is forgiven though because I know my turn is here with this movie! I have always been fascinated by the depth of the background story for the game and now I am so excited to see it come to life on the screen. With actor Michael Fassbender taking  on the role of Callum Lynch as he relives the acts of his assassin ancestors I know this movie is set to be epic. Michael is most recently known for his role as Magneto in the XMen series.

SING

Now you guys know I couldn’t have a movie list without at least one for the Kiddies. So my pick is SING. This movie is like a combination of Pets and Glee. Singing plus hilariously funny animals. I think I may be as excited as my Kiddies are for this one to come out!

Passengers

SciFi has not always been one of my favorite movie genres. Yet Passengers has grabbed my attention. I aired love both Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt because – okay do I really need to list it all? Guardians of the GalaxyJoy…there are so many reasons! So when I saw that they have come together to bring a story of science fiction and drama to the screen. I knew I had to see it!

Fences

Fences. What can I say about this besides the fact that it brings both Viola Davis and Denzel Washington together on The. Same. Screen!! Yup. That’s all I have need to say!
