So, it was a sunny and bright day and we were having a family celebration cook out at my cousins home. It was newly built and she was proud to show off the great features. One of which was her amazing back patio where all the food and grill prep was taking place. As I walked through the rest of the house my grandmother was making her way to the patio and eventually the back yard that everyone was ravin about. That’s when it happened…my grandmother walked smack dab into the screen patio door!
Don’t worry she wasn’t hurt and it wasn’t as if she went into it at a full speed run or anything but it definitely stopped her in her tracks. We all had a great laugh over it and to this day it is one of those stories we tell when thinking back on that day. Later that evening after a few more relatives had a face-to-face encounter with the screen my cousin decided to rig up a solution by taking a bit of tape and a few stickers she had and placing them across the screen.
If only I knew then what I know now. When the lovely creator of ScreenDoorMagnets introduced me to her site I had a little laugh as I looked over it and thought how handy these would have been that day at my cousins home. ScreenDoorMagnets are designed to help prevent the oops and sometimes the ouches of bumping or walking into a screen door by placing beautifully designed magnets with amazing artwork across the screen to help you see when they’re closed. I am sure these would look much better than my cousin’s quick fix to her problem so many years ago.
The designs that are offered are beautiful and will fit into almost any home’s decor even on screen windows. With Screen Door Magnets, you can add a bit of style to just about any screen you want. Here are just a few of the designs available…
