So, about a month ago our Girl Scout Troop took a trip to the Botanical Gardens. By the way…I honestly thought a trip to the Botanical ‘Gardens’ was to go look at the pretty flowers. Not to go hike through the woods over rocks, with spider webs and dragonflies and bugs…Oh My! Anyway, I digress.
About halfway through the trip and the 1 1/2 mile long trek through the woods we decided to try to capture a memory of the day with a group photo. My son, The Teenager, who is what we fondly refer to as our Honorary Member was not there at first but apparently he walked up at some point while I was trying to take the 5-10 pictures needed to capture a single picture which would actually be usable (those with kids or who ever tried to take a picture of kids know exactly what I mean). It wasn’t until I was reviewing the pictures later that evening I noticed that my ever so mischievous Teenager had taken it upon himself to take on a different pose using his recently found hiking stick as a prop for each snap of my camera. I was so distracted with trying to call each girl by name and maintain their attention I didn’t notice the little poser and what he was doing at all.
Personally my favorite of all the poses is the very last one…very Captain Morganish don’t you think?
