Let me start by saying I have a love/hate relationship with makeup. I love how it can help me feel fabulous and beautiful but I hate how it makes me feel completely mystified by how it actually does that. When the Where To Be Society announced they were hosting a Makeup Party at TabbyCat Cosmetics in Raleigh I thought this would be the perfect way for me to get a bit more familiar with things and maybe take away a bit of that mystery makeup still holds for me. Oh and I also would get a Girl’s Night Out…so WinWin if you ask me!
If you guys remember I actually had a mini makeup lesson a few months ago and after that I actually had to do my own makeup for a tv taping. I must admit though outside of those 2 events I haven’t really looked at my makeup. So this evening was something I couldn’t wait to attend.
TabbyCat Cosmetics had me at PINK. When I walked in the hints of pink and the amazing layout of this Spa, Makeup, Hair & Nail Salon definitely caught my attention they then kept it with the amazing skill, professionalism and friendliness of the staff.

As you can see, the Ladies of the #WhereToBeSociety enjoyed a great night full of laughs, fun and learning. I even stepped a bit outside my comfort level and tried this awesome red lip color…
So if you’re ever looking for a way to treat yourself, a friend or even a group of friends I definitely suggest TabbyCat Cosmetics for your one-stop pampering destination!

My favorite way to treat myself is usually with food, a new book or clothes/shoes. I've only had my makeup done professionally a handful of times, usually for special events like weddings.
Haha! Food is always a choice for me 🙂 Well maybe you can add makeup to your list of treats…I know I will be 🙂
