#WordlessWednesday {Headstart Tuesday} – Ornament Traditions

WordlessOrnamentThis is our Family ‘H’…

It has made it onto every tree for at least the past 7 years.

I did have to replace it once after a PCS Move so this is ‘H’ Jr.

This ornament always holds a place on our tree

front and center and I love to see it there every year.

Do you have any Ornament Traditions that you hold dear to your family?

BTW, I was going to copy & paste your WW button to show off on my blog, but something is keeping from lifting the code to paste it. Can you send the button code to me via email? Thanks!

Sure! You have to lift it from the side bar grab box…just right click copy & past the code. I have a copy/paste protect on my main area content. Sorry about the confustion…sending an e-mail now. Thanks so much for the Button Share Support! 🙂

It's always such great fun to have Christmas traditions that are carried from one year to the next. I love reading about other families special customs. Happy WW!

I love how the ornament is so special and has a place in your hearts. The only "keepsake" ornament I have, has never left the box in fear it will break.

Thank you…we always place it last…I know a bit dramatic but it\’s fun…LOL I had a few of those but had to adjust to Kid-Proof ornaments.. 🙂

Aw this is so sweet! We have one ornament from my Aunt and cousin that says the nickname they gave my son JuJu. It's a really cute ornament. As he gets older, I'll make sure he puts that one on the tree. 🙂

I love that you have special traditions for trimming your tree. We do as well, it is a large part of what Christmas and tree trimming is all about!

Yes isn’t it? I love Christmas. It’s so I dunno…it’s like a warm holiday. Lol

Beautiful tree. 🙂 I love seeing the ornaments on our tree, most of them are from my children or from my own childhood or my husbands.

I love your family H! It is so beautiful. That would also be a perfect letter for us as our surname belongs with the letter H!:) We use a lot of candles at Christmas and I especially like red ones. I also like using a variety of candlesticks. Thanks for hosting and enjoy the season.

    1. MrsTee Avatar

Thank You! I love candles but with the kiddies I haven\’t done them as much. We do have wax warmers and they fill the house completely. I love them!

Love it! We get new ornaments every year and we try to have them represent milestones that year. So the hubbs and I got one that says “New Home” since we purchased our first home two months ago, and the bubbs got a soccer ball ornament this year since he started playing soccer in the fall! Love special ornaments!

    1. MrsTee Avatar

Wow! That\’s a great keepsake…Congratulations! I love keepsakes as well…they make your tree more than just additional decor…it actually means something to the entire family.

Very pretty. I love traditions. We don't put up a tree though, so we don't have any special ornaments, lots of traditions though

    1. MrsTee Avatar

Thank you…even without a tree it is always great to have family traditions.

We love special ornaments! I actually have one that has been on my tree every year since my first Christmas….it's looking a little rough after (ah…hem..) all these years–but, it will be there as long as I can keep it in one piece! 🙂

That’s a wonderful keepsake. I’m trying to do the same with my Kiddies by collecting one for each of them every year that the can eventual have as their own for their family.
