I had another option…
I could have walked away…
Chosen my words a bit more wisely…
Thought harder on what to say…
Instead I chose to stand there and let my thoughts flow free…
I’m grown after all who knows me better than me?
But I had another option…
I could have walked away…
Chosen my battles differently…
Saved my freedom to for another day…
Now relations are different interactions are strained…
If only I had chosen the other option and knew when to walk away…
