The best in the house. To theatergoers, this is a phrase we’ve all heard and one we all want to claim as our own when attending a performance. The best in the house is the place where you as an audience member will have the best overall experience for every show.
Cape Fear Regional Theatre
Ever have that moment when the stars align to give you exactly what you need – when you need it? Thanks to Cape Fear Regional Theatre and a few unexpected changes in schedules that’s exactly the moment I had this weekend.
Cape Fear Regional has taken thinking out the box to new heights creating the perfect stage to welcome Lady Day home just a short stroll from their intimate theatre to the old Haymount Auto Repair to grace the stage and share her story through lyrics, stories, a few sips of ‘juice’, and several choice words sprinkled throughout.
CFRT has designed the set to make the audience part of the play. Seats are placed directly on the stage. We were so close I could have – and may have been tempted to – reach out and touch and/or hug the actors. This intimate arrangement brought me into the story.
The musical production of MEMPHIS at The Cape Fear Regional Theatre is a love story between a man, a woman, a city and the music that unites them. . .
What do you expect when you hear the word art? Sculptures? Paintings? Drawings? Music? Art in it’s truest form has no limit. Fayetteville’s art scene is one where you can always expect the unexpected . . .
I love it when a post comes together! No seriously, I love it when a question from a friend, business or random Facebook post sparks the idea for a post. This post was inspired by a question on Facebook for my favorite budget friendly things to do in Fayetteville – here’s 15!
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever ended up being the best night ever for me and my kiddies! *See what I did it there?
