I’ve lived in Fayetteville for nearly 12 years now and every single year I’ve heard the rumors of this amazing event called the Holly Day Fair. This year I had the chance to experience it for myself and all I can say is WOW! Okay well that’s not all I can say but it pretty much sums it up.
It’s finally starting to feel like Fall and I couldn’t be happier. Fall for me is all about family and family is all about making memories. How do we make our best memories? Fall fun of course! Fayetteville has some pretty amazing things happening this Fall for just about everyone.
Each year the WIDU Anniversary Weekend is one of the most attended events at The Crown Complex and Expo Center. Drawing crowds from not only Fayetteville but communities as far out as Raleigh, Durham and Johnston County!

Fayetteville is known as America’s Hometown – a place where you can feel at home no matter what your background or origin. A city full of diversity, innovation and unique perspectives that come together to create a community determined to spark progress and opportunity for every citizen. The Fayetteville Minor League Baseball Stadium is one project that is destined to be a home run for our city in every way!
The City of Fayetteville is actively working towards building our community – one citizen at a time. I recently had a chance to see that work for myself as part of the Citizens’ Academy.
