The True To Yourself Talk Series began in 2018 with guest speaker Tichina Arnold and left such an impact on our community it was a must to bring it back this year. It wasn’t until I received an invitation to attend the Youth Talk with Casting Director Winsome Sinclair that I realized this series isn’t just for the grown-ups!

I’ve lived in Fayetteville for nearly 12 years now and every single year I’ve heard the rumors of this amazing event called the Holly Day Fair. This year I had the chance to experience it for myself and all I can say is WOW! Okay well that’s not all I can say but it pretty much sums it up.
Each year the WIDU Anniversary Weekend is one of the most attended events at The Crown Complex and Expo Center. Drawing crowds from not only Fayetteville but communities as far out as Raleigh, Durham and Johnston County!
Musicals take the story of a person, family or city and give a place where the music tells the story in a unique way spoken words alone cannot. Music City brings the music to each audience member and pulls you in to the story in a way you will never forget.
The City of Fayetteville is actively working towards building our community – one citizen at a time. I recently had a chance to see that work for myself as part of the Citizens’ Academy.
